What this is

StarSonic is an Android app that plays music from a server you run and control. It is provided as it is, free of charge, by Gabriele Proietti Mattia.

What it is not

It is not a music service. It hosts nothing, streams nothing of its own, and provides no content. Whatever you play through it comes from your server, and whether you have the right to play it is between you and whoever you got it from.

No warranty

The app is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. It talks to servers the author does not control, over networks the author does not control; it can fail to connect, fail to sync, or stop playing. Do not rely on it as the only way of reaching something you need.

Your data

Described on the Privacy Policy page. In short: the app sends your data to your server and to nowhere else.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the author is not liable for any loss arising from the use of the app, including loss of data or of access to your own library.

Changes

These terms may change; the date above moves when they do. Continuing to use the app after a change means accepting it.
